>> Coach Meadows' Northpoint Academy squad of 2003 was 35-3 and defeated two nationally ranked teams in the nationally recognized Westminster Classic in Florida. Northpoint would go on to defeat the defending state champions, Killian Hill. 2-games to 0 in the AA State Championship in Atlanta, Georgia.
In his last game and last offensive inning as a high school coach, his State Championship team gave him a departing fireworks show in hitting FIVE home runs in the final inning including three in a row to clinch. Many believe the catalyst for the explosion was in great part do to the excitement generated from the previous inning's "phantom pick-off" trick play at second base, executed in what was a tight game at the time.
>> Helped to raise over $250,000 in major gifts and services in facility development and renovation at Augusta Christian from 1994-2000.
>> When he retired from ACS in 2000 as Head Baseball Coach, enrollments linked to his 7-year Enrollment Development efforts meant $500,000 annually to the schools budget.
>> Over 50-players from his high school team rosters have gone on to play collegiate and or professional baseball. Seven have played professionally including 5-players from the Northpoint squad.
>> Over 150-players from his training and high school programs have gone on to all levels of baseball.
>> His teams have also produced 2- collegiate All-Americas (Donnie Thomas & Brad Reed), numerous All-Conference selections, and one NCCA National Pitcher of the Year (Donnie Thomas).
